** Reiko Naual -- Helen has been my motivation from day ONE1111111111 and I know she has been my angel watching over me everyday. She has helped me accomplish my goals and I'm so thankful for that always. Helen has always been and will always be my inspiration! She brought out the best in me and I will never forget how we both just clicked.  She was truly one of a kind!  I never met anyone so motivated to help our society, her friends and family, and set a great example academically for others around her.  She was my guide through life's difficult moments.  I still can't believe she is gone. I will never meet anyone like her.  She was really a TRUE friend, a WONDERFUL mother, and a daughter with a BIG heart.  HELEN, I miss and love you always!!!!!!!

** Raymond Quang -- What I remember most about Helen is how much her eyes were squinted when she was smiling and laughing. It’s mostly because I seen her that way, she would always be able to brighten up the room or inspire someone to be great. She was a tireless and selfless individual who was loved by all that had the honor of meeting and befriending her. I knew her as my twin with a ravenous appetite; we would get food together and share stories. What impressed me the most about her was the fact that she changed her life around for her little man. He is everything to her, and she gave all she had so that he could live a better life. I believe that she is still there, watching over him and guiding him from above. If there was anyone who ever deserved a spot in Heaven, it would be her.

** Alyssa Raine Cunningham -- Helen was an amazing woman who was very sweet, caring, and compassionate. She was my very dear friend who pushed me through school and helped me learn how to raise a crazy, active little boy from sharing her experiences with raising Phoenix. We would stay up late at night discussing the antics of the boys and complaining about school. Helen was very dedicated to school and that dedication shone through in her work and her schooling. Helen was an amazing scholar, mother, and friend. I miss her every day but now she's a guardian angel and she lives on through her precious son, Phoenix.

** Feora Cadina -- Helen meant so much to us and we only knew her for a little over a year. Nursing school is not the same without her smile, outspoken voice and passion.  You and Phoenix are still in my prayers. Much love to your family

** Joseph Luis Alamo -- She was the only person I knew that never judged me and was always there to talk no matter what time of day it was and no matter how busy she was she always made time and knew what to say. I miss her so much.

** Lisa Rudolph Pelton -- Helen and I met many years ago through mutual friends. She was incredibly sweet and extremely intelligent. She had a great sense of humor and a truly curious nature. We spent many a night watching the same movies over and over again, eating (one of her favorite past times) and chatting away. Although we lost contact for a couple of years after my return to the mainland, we reconnected and it was as if no time had gone by. I was so happy to learn how successful she was with school and know that she was an amazing mother to Phoenix. I feel truly fortunate to have had Helen in my life and to call her my friend.  Thank you for the opportunity to share!!!
